Blood Incantation

Blood Incantation’s career began in 2011. After releasing a couple of demos and EPs, the band struck with their debut album, Starspawn, five years later. The album, which combines the raw and marshy death metal with the adventurous leanings of progressive rock, was a sensation that propelled the band to the forefront of the genre. Their technique got even richer and more complex on their sophomore outing, Hidden History of the Human Race, but in 2022, the band surprised everyone with a drastic pivot in their style. On Timewave Zero, the Americans abandoned metal for a second and decided to explore the world of Berlin electronics and ambient. The prodigal sons returned to their metal home, however, on their latest breakthrough record, Absolute Elsewhere. Their blend of death metal, krautrock and progressive rock was a hit with audiences, letting the band ride on the wave of their well-deserved hype to sold-out concerts in Europe and the US. Today, Blood Incantation are death metal stars in the truest form, and there’s not an obstacle in sight blocking their further ascent.
