Fulci

Fulci was formed in 2013 in the Italian city of Caserta. The band’s goal from the beginning was a combination as old as time – brutal death metal and horror films – but this time, specifically those made by the acclaimed Italian director, Lucio Fulci. In 2014, the band hit the ground running with two demos, which they followed up with a debut album, Opening the Hell Gates, a year later. A breakthrough in the band’s popularity came with the release of their sophomore album, Tropical Sun, on which the four-piece perfected their brutal death metal. Then, the 20 Buck Spin signees went on to release three more records – all met with equally warm reception – and collaborate with TV Crimes on the soundtrack to the short film Tropical Sun.
