Cabal is a thing of extreme. They transcend genre, traverse in petrifying darkness. Emerging from deathcore, they reach the shores of death metal, hardcore, and even black metal. You want it heavy, nihilistic, and without a shred of hope? Well that’s exactly what you’re going to get.
History:
Cabal was formed in 2015 with the explicit aim to make metal music as extreme as it gets – without paying much heed which genre it would fall under. Almost immediately they released the single “Innocent Blood” and in 2016, they extended it with an EP Purge. They were already quite popular on the Danish extreme scene, but with their full-length album debut, Mark of Rot from 2018, they hit it big internationally. They’ve been charging ahead and their status has only garnered more respect. They’ll come to Mystic Festival with their latest, fourth record – Everything Rots.
