Castle Rat is everything good and dense. Insanely young, but the band already has the potential to take over the world. Their doom-metal is crystal clear, their lead singer is incredibly charismatic, their style is amazing and their lyrics make your skin crawl. Truly a dream band.
History:
Castle Rat’s debut album was released in 2024, but the band was formed five years earlier and the idea to play music came long before that. This idea was nourished with the singles “It Isn’t Clean” (2020) and “Feed the Dream” (2022) and finally came to fruition on the full-length album Into the Realm. The hype for the young band is already piping hot on the doom/stoner scene but there is no rest for the wicked, and they are already working on the follow-up to their last year’s success.
