Halocene

What kind of music do they play? Hard to say, as they seem to feel equally at home in syrupy sweet pop-punk refrains, emo expressiveness, metalcore nooks and crannies and alternative rock. And their stylistic wanderings are seldom over yet. One thing’s for sure – they have huge hits in their holsters that they are ready to whip out at Mystic Festival.

History:

Halocene came into being in 2008 in Phoenix as a three-piece band made up of Addie Nicole (vocalist), Brad Amick (guitarist and backing vocalist) and Joe Polizzi (drummer). From the very beginning, intensive touring was the mainstay of the band. They toured all over the US with their energetic and eclectic music from the intersection of metal, rock and punk and earned a reputation as a stellar live act. Throughout the years, they opened for such legends as Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy, and at a later stage of their career, they released two cover albums that made them quite famous. On these records, you will find daring interpretations of hit songs by System of a Down, W.A.S.P., Linkin Park and many others.
