Heave Blood & Die

If it’s Norwegian, you know it’s something completely different. Heave Blood & Die don’t stick to any rules. They mix post-hardcore with post-punk, they do not fear a stoner riff and, when needed, they fall into a kraut trance. Check out their latest album, Burnout Codes!

History:

The evolution of Heave Blood & Die, established in 2014, is one of the most interesting in the past few years when it comes to alternative music. They started with a heavy, but to be frank rather predictable, hammering down, somewhere on the line between stoner and doom metal, with a bit of sludge here or there. But with their third album, Post People, the direction changed to post-punk with a sprinkle of post-hardcore, and metal almost left the conversation. With last year’s Burnout Codes – released by the well-known Fysisk Format – the band is continuing their strange and dark wanderings.
