I Am Morbid

Do you miss Morbid Angel? Well then, I Am Morbid was made for you. The project keeps the memory of one of the biggest death metal bands in the world alive and well, touring to their heart’s content. The band’s lineup consists of, among others, the former, formidable vocalist of Morbid Angel, David Vincent, and its equally accomplished ex-drummer – Pete Sandoval.

History:

The idea behind I Am Morbid was born in 2016, just after David Vincent and the drummer Tim Yeung left Morbid Angel. They were joined by Bill Hudson and Ira Black. The band was created to keep alive the legacy of the legendary Morbid Angel of Vincent’s age, hence live they focus on playing the material from the legendary albums recorded with him still in the band, i.e. Altars of Madness, Blessed Are the Sick, Covenant and Domination. After a couple lineup reshufflings, Yeung was replaced by Pete Sandoval behind the drum kit and Richie Brown joined as its current second guitarist.
