Lord of The Lost

It almost happened in 2023, there is no way it is not happening in 2024. Lord of the Lost is a modern glam rock and gothic metal fusion that marries spunky synths reminiscent of peak Depeche Mode with the chill of industrial rock and the overpowering heaviness of metal. The newest record from this Hamburg band was significantly titled “Blood & Glitter” – and you can expect such contrast from Lord of the Lost’s spectacular performance.

History:

The band was formed in 2007 in Hamburg by the frontman and main vocalist Chris Harms. In 2010 they released its debut album titled “Fears”. The following years brought with them more records, such as “Die Tomorrow”, “From the Flame Into the Fire”, “Empyrean”, “Swan Songs II”, “Thornstar”, “Swan Songs III”, and “Judas”, with the latest being the 2022 “Blood & Glitter”. Despite line-up changes, the band is doing amazing for itself, playing gigs around the world side by side with the virtuosos of metal as well as while sharing the stage with a symphonic orchestra. Their sound is a unique mixture of genres, such as metal and glam rock with elements of gothic and industrial rock and even the already-mentioned classical music. And yes, they did represent Germany in Eurovision 2023.
