Signs of the Swarm is unabashed deathcore. Tremendously heavy and ruthless. When they want to step on the gas with an even heavier foot, they foray into brutal death metal or even djent. Their music sounds exactly like crossing the threshold of hell.
History:
Signs of the Swarm got started in 2014 in Pittsburgh. They debuted two years later with the record Senseless Order, which caused quite the buzz on the deathcore scene – mainly due to its extremely brutal style. Their sophomore record, released a year later, The Disfigurement of Existence, garnered even better reviews, and it offered a more diverse material than its predecessor. The band’s following three records, in particular the 2023 Amongst the Low & Empty, solidified their place in the premier league of contemporary deathcore.
