Soulburn

There’s no playing around with Soulburn, just dirt and tar. The Dutch band executes violence with the tools of the highest order – the pure rage of death metal, the haunting of black metal, and the rollers of doom.

History:

Soulburn rose out of the ashed of then-extinct death/doom Asphyx in 1996. They were searching for musich which would allow them to convey their fascination with Venom and Bathory. In 1998, they released their debut album, Feedin on Angels, and in 1999, they disbanded when Asphyx was raised from the dead. They came back fourteen years later and in 2014 reminded the world of their existence with the LP The Suffocating Darkness. Their latest album is Noa’s D’ark from 2020.
