We’re getting back to the basement. The Game Over, You Died zone, prepared by the Dawne Komputery i Gry foundation was such a hit with everyone that this year 8-bit screams and pixelated skulls will be available at even more stalls.
Not only musicians can come to Mystic Festival to play. As part of the Game Over, You Died zone, a crew from the Dawne Komputery i Gry foundation will build an interactive exhibition of computers and consoles with legendary games. This won’t be your typical museum with “No touching” signs – here, with each exhibit, you’ll be able to sit down and grab a controller! The equipment will be mostly plugged into CRT TVs and the games… dripping in cult status and dazzling with nostalgia.
In the expanded and refurbished Game Over, You Died zone you will find devices and titles such as:
Atari 65XE – River Raid
Atari Jaguar – Karts, Rayman
Commondore 64 – Boulder Dash
NES – Super Mario, Duck Hunt, Excitebike
Nintendo 64 – Doom, F-Zero X, Mario Kart 64
Windows XP PCs in a single network – Doom, Doom II, Quake III Arena, Warcraft I & II
Sega Mega Drive – Sonic
Sega Mega Drive 2 – Cruel Ball
SNES – Rock n’ Roll Racing
Vectrex – Minestorm, Spike
The Game Over, You Died zone will be open every day from the opening of the festival grounds until 9.00 p.m. On special request, we will forcefully remove you from the computers, so you can go and enjoy the concerts, but you can also bring your mother with you – her doing that for us will save us some hustle.
