Carpenter Brut

Carpenter Brut’s story begins in 2012. That’s when Franck Hueso brought the project to life – back then, as a practical joke. Even the name itself was a bit, a wordplay on the name of the famous director, John Carpenter, and a champagne brand, Charpentier Brut. Moreover, the musician liked the idea of doing everything on his own, without anyone’s interference. In the first three years of his career, the Frenchman released an acclaimed trilogy of EPs, which in time became an important milestone for darksynth and brought him fans from all walks of music – first and foremost, us, metalheads. Since then, Franck has not looked back. Records such as Leather Teeth and Leather Terror quickly found legions of eager listeners, and in them, Carpenter Brut found die hard fans. The artist is coming to Mystic Festival with a new album, Leather Temple.
