They don’t like sugary sweet melodies or lyrics with a positive outlook. Czerń is pure darkness in many different shades. They started out with a hybrid of sludge and post-metal, then moved on to a full-blooded death metal with riffs that will make you headbang involuntarily. There’ll be no better opportunity to see for yourselves than their June performance in Gdańsk.
History:
Czerń’s history began in 2013. Formed in Warsaw and coming from the hardcore scene, the band plays a cross between hardcore, post-metal and sludge metal. Their first two releases were an EP Nie ze skały, a ze strachu and a split album with Kaldera soon after. In 2020, they debuted with the full-length album Zgliszcza. After its release, the band gained a new guitarist in Piotr Sałata and with him on board, Czerń was transformed. On their 2022 self-titled EP, the band
