A.A. Williams

Her music, first and foremost, is a catharsis for all thatโ€™s dark. Thatโ€™s why, A.A. Williams faces negative things and emotions in many different ways โ€“ from postrock drifting to doom stomping; from shoegaze sweetness to pure bitterness itself. Embrace these idiosyncrasies and youโ€™ll be better off for it.ย

History:

Long before starting out a solo career, A.A. Williams knew what was what. Initially, as young child, she trained as a pianist and a cello player. As a teenager, she discovered Deftones, fell in love with metal and, not long after, learned how to play the guitar. In 2018, she released her first singles which conquered the hearts of many post-metal fans. Two years later, she debuted with a well-received full-lenght album, Forever Blue. Her latest LP is the 2022 As the Moon Rests.ย
