There’s no joking around with them – just a straight knockout. Thrown do not go easy on their listeners – to them, it’s violence or nothing. They’ve built their sound on a hardcore foundation, but with many a reference to modern metalcore or nu-metal. They’re ruthless and deadly good at what they do.
History:
It all began in 2019 when Marcus Lundqvist and Andreas Malm decided they wanted to try their hands at modern metal, one more modern than the one played by their bands so far. So they ended up calling their friend, Buster Odeholm, and when the pandemic hit, they gradually polished their original material. In 2022, the band released their first EP (Extended Pain) and started touring the world. Their raging, modern, metallised hardcore began to draw bigger and bigger audiences. The latest stamp marking the band’s popularity is their 2024 debut album, Excessive Guilt.
