History:
Priest came into being around a decade ago, when the freshly kicked-out Ghost musicians (Mercury and Sulfur, to be exact) decided to embark on new music adventures. They started out with the 2017 record, New Flesh, on which you can hear both synthwave and synthpop, EBM and even a dash of gothic leanings. Besides Ghost fans, the band quickly piqued the interest of synthwave enthusiasts, and their popularity grew with each release. Their latest album is the 2024 Dark Pulse.
