Some of you might have caught them during Mystic Festival 2024, back when they were still playing as Nakkeknaekker. Now rechristened as Neckbreakker, they are breaking necks better than ever. You wonโt be able to help headbanging to this swinging death metal (with elements of groove), bursting as it is with their young energy.ย
History:
Hailing from Denmark, the Neckbreakkerโs story began in 2020 under the name of Nakkeknaekker. Their old school approach to the genre and vigour allowed them to play many a fantastic concerts, even though between 2020 and 2024 they only released two demos and a single. The Silkeborg band, nevertheless, did their damn job on stage on festivals such as Hellfest, Copenhell, Roskilde, and, of course, Mystic Festival. After these performances, the band changed their name to the current one and signed with Nuclear Blast. Two years ago, they debuted with a full-length record, Within the Viscera.ย
