History:
Formed in 2020, Blackgold is an anonymous nu-metal project from the British city of Sheffield. They are just as good at maintaining their anonymity as they are at recording music, as we still have no clue as to their identities. The band debuted with a self-titled record in 2022, showcasing on it a nu-metal reminiscent of the genreโs golden age. The three subsequent albums of the band โ the latest being the 2025 Phone Home โ have stayed steady on that course.ย
