We are happy to reveal more names, as an unforgettable festival is shaping up. Chelsea Wolfe, Furia, Vio-Lence and Ghøstkid are joining the program.
Chelsea Wolfe
An American singer-songwriter who blends the elements in a way only she knows – metal heaviness with American folk, gothic bleakness with industrial coldness. The high priestess of darkness returns in February 2024 with the album “She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She” and in June she will mesmerize, move and haunt us at the Shipyard.
Furia
Polish audience knows perfectly well what a stage beast Furia is today, how original and thrilling their musical concept is, because they’ve arrived in crowds for the shows on the just-concluded autumn tour of the Silesians. We can’t let the furnace at the “Huta Luna” go out, so Furia joins us in Gdansk this year.
Vio-Lence
Furia fans are well aware that the band operates as part of the Let The World Burn collective, and the Vio-Lence mini-album released in 2022, the first in many, many years with new material, is titled – well, that’s right – “Let The World Burn”! There are no coincidences, just signs… Vio-Lence are coming straight from the Bay Area to show us how to play genuine, old-school thrash metal.
Ghøstkid
As you are well aware, Mystic Festival is a mix of classic and future, old and new. The new trends in metal – and nearby, as industrial, nu-metal and even trap can also be heard in the group’s music – will be represented at the festival by Ghøstkid. They debuted in 2020 with a well-received album called simply “Ghøstkid”, and with the recently released single “Heavy Rain” they announce the next chapter.
The Mystic Festival 2024 will take place at the Gdansk Shipyard from June 5-8.
