Bruce Dickinson
All it takes is one command, one gesture – and you will scream for him. One of the most important voices and one of heavy metal’s most relentless frontmen will perform at Mystic Festival! „This album has been a very personal journey for me and I am extremely proud of it. Roy Z and I have been planning, writing and recording it for years, and I am very excited for people to finally hear it” – this is how Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the great Iron Maiden, announced “The Mandrake Project,” his return to solo work after a nearly two-decade pause. We are beyond excited that the Polish live premiere of this material will take place at the Shipyard. This is how history is born.
Suffocation
True legend of both brutal and technical style, that needs no introduction. Although it is worth knowing that in the camp of the New York masters of death metal the time has come for some serious changes. Suffocation’s ninth album, titled “Hymns From The Apocrypha,” will premiere in November. This is the first album the band recorded with Ricky Myers as vocalist. We already know how fantastic of a growler and frontman he is from shows and singles, so we are confident that no one will leave the pit in one piece.
Blackgold
Make nu-metal ass-kicking again. They will dazzle you with their sound, force you to headbang, and launch you into the air with their choruses. This is renegade music offered to you by the masked perpetrators from London. It sounds like it’s 1993 all over again, only better. As if metal, hardcore and rap had collided again, only with greater force than the first time. Blackgold, with a series of singles and EPs, caused quite a stir on the British scene, with a series of shows – reactions only enthusiastic.
Humanity’s Last Breath
Hold your breath… Well, do what you want, the first seconds of “Ashen”, the latest album from the Swedes, are enough to make you start choking under the pressure of this heaviness! Humanity’s Last Breath’s specialty is progressive, modern deathcore, impressing both with its bone-crushing sound and bold arrangements.
The Mystic Festival 2024 will take place at the Gdansk Shipyard from June 5-8. The program includes Bruce Dickinson, Accept, Satyricon, Thy Art Is Murder, Life Of Agony, Suffocation, Lord Of The Lost, Ithaka, Asphyx, Orange Goblin, Blackgold and Sanguisugabogg.
