Misguided is not your average death metal beast. This Polish band mixes death metal (think old school Carcass) with some grind influences, classically American hardcore and, for dessert, some sludge slow down. A punk-metal coalition? If so, this is its best version.

History:

Misguided’s musical journey began in 2021. That’s when Igor Prusakowski, Grzegorz Borowiec and Bartek Wojka created the band in ToruÅ„. The plan was to sound like a combination of death metal and hardcore punk, which was achieved on their first, self-titled EP, released in 2021. The death metal supported by punk was highly irregular for the Polish scene, which is why it was received enthusiastically by the native underground, giving the ToruÅ„ and Gdynia crew the opportunity to perform next to Portrayal of Guilt and Mortiferum, among others. Their debut album, The Cave released in 2023, added to the fire. The perfected style of Misguided let them to the stage of Summer Dying Loud, and now also to Mystic Festival.
