ten56.

A bone-breaking, spine-crushing metalcore. ten56. has only one objective and that is to put the listeners through a meat grinder. The singles and EPs that they have released so far a proof of their textbook execution of that task. Though the French band plays the aforementioned metalcore, they take it to the extreme, often peeking into deathcore, with groves emanating from nu-metal influences. And it’s all altogether hard to resist.

History:

The French band ten56. was formed only in 2020, but they’re no rookies making their first steps in the music business. The band consists of members whose resumes include reputable metalcore names such as Betraying the Martyrs or Uneven Structure.

The band’s years of experience come through in their first three singles “Diazepam”, “Boy” and “Sick Dog”, all released in 2021. The French formation quickly caught the attention of fans of the previous bands the members played in as well as of new generations of listeners. The band was hardly idle and quickly dealt another blow, releasing the EP “Downer Part 1”. The record was praised for its balanced proportions of metalcore sulphur and nu-metal sense of rhythm and bounce.

ten56.’s most recent release is the EP “Downer, Pt.2” which was released in 2023.
