Blackgold

Make nu-metal ass-kicking again. They will stun you with their sound, force you to headbang, and launch you into the air with their choruses. This is the music of the renegades offered to you by these masked misfits from London. It’s like 1993 all over again with metal, hardcore and rap colliding once again, only with a lot more force this time around. Blackgold caused quite a stir on the British scene with their singles and EPs and nothing but enthusiasm with their live performances.

History:

Little is known about the quintet, with their faces behind masks, identities – behind pseudonyms. All that we know is that they are from London and that they love nu metal, drawing from the golden era of the subgenre. Their self-titled EP caught the attention of everyone nostalgic for the sound of the turn of the century. Even Fred Durst praised them, and he is not one to usually do that, to then invite them to join him on tour – but that’s no surprise, since Limp Bizkit was, without a doubt, an important point of reference for Blackgold. As was Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down, Incubus and probably many others, but the Londoners are making it all their own. Their shows are a dose of pure, electrifying energy and a whole lot of good fun.
