Bring Me The Horizon

They’ve been playing since 2004. When deciding on their name, they looked to one Jack Sparrow and his faithful words – “Now… bring me that horizon.” Sound-wise the band has been down a long loud road of genres and guitar styles. From deathcore and melodic metalcore to broadly defined rock music, with a pitstop at nu metal. However, no matter which sound they choose to embody at any given moment, the band has gained quite the popularity and crowds of fans, with two of their studio albums – Sempiternal and That’s the Spirit – going gold in the UK.

History:

The band was formed in 2004 in Sheffield, UK. After only a couple of months, they released their first EP, which shook the metalcore world and the expectations only amassed. in 2006 they released their debut studio album titled “Count Your Blessings”, which placed Bring Me The Horizon at the spearhead of the metalcore revolt. Their third record, “There Is a Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen it. There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret” (2010) made it clear that the world of metal was not big enough for BMTH and they began to venture into alternative rock, electronic and classical music or even pop to look for inspiration. Grammy and BRIT nominations, golden records and sold-out concerts prove that they have forged their own path – a path where metal audiences are joined by fans of other types of music. The band’s latest release, the minialbum “Post Human: Survival Horror”, hit the shelves in 2022 and is the first instalment of a four-part project, the next instalment of which, Post Human: Nex Gen, is scheduled for 2024.
