Wyatt E.

Wyatt E. is one of those bands that offer you experiences of a psychedelic shamanic ritual kind. What matters here is guiding the sound into the unknown, the murmurs, the hums, and the trance-like moans of the guitars. Songs? Never. Those are maleficent drones (with doom accents) with a life of their own – you never know when the mass of sound will push you into the abyss, but once this black hole swallows you whole, you won’t regret it.

History:

Wyatt E. is a Belgian group, creating music around doom metal that breaks down the barriers of genres and opts for maximum intimacy. The band was formed in 2015 by Stéphane Rondia and Sébastien von Landau and welcomed their first EP, “Mount Sinai / Aswan”, the same year. The fans of psychedelic doom soon appreciated the formation, which back then was still finding their style and the best was yet to come. And the best did come with their debut album, “Exile to Beyn Neharot”. The 2017 album allowed Wyatt E. to show their full face, that is a demonic drone that goes far into an unknown direction, laced with the iron seriousness of doom metal. Ever since then the duo has been passionately touring and earning a lot of recognisability, at least for the niche’s standards. Their lates release is the 2022 album “Āl Bēlūti Dārû”.
